All sounds were designed using the most common bass guitar configurations, but you may need to adjust settings—including treble and gain—depending on the pickups you have in your bass.

Features:

  • 5 versatile bass rigs for HX Stomp

  • 3-4 scenes within each rig designed for different playing styles

  • Complete customizability

  • Requires Helix Stomp version 3.60.0+ and the most recent version of HX Edit

Rig 1 - Redding Stomp

This is a rig based off the signature sound from Redding, California. It includes clean and drive scenes, as well as a “microsynth” scene that emulates the over-the-top fuzz tone that has become universal in the worship genre.

  • Redding Stomp demos were recorded with a Fender Jazz bass on the neck pickup.

Rig 2 - Everyday Stomp

A rig for many situations. This versatile preset starts off very clean and includes scenes that increase gain and add chorus. Distortion and sub octave blocks are included, allowing the player to customize scenes for their needs.

  • Everyday Stomp demos were recorded with a Fender Jazz bass on the neck pickup.

Rig 3 - Scooped Stomp

This preset has a scooped midrange as well as compression that provides an excellent starting point for mid-rangy basses or slap players. A filter scene is included that may need to be adjusted based upon the output of your pickup.

  • Scooped Stomp demos were recorded with a Fender Jazz bass with both pickups.

Rig 4 - Classic Stomp

Slightly darker and cleaner, this preset is for players who desire a classic barebones approach to bass. It is great for acoustic sets, as well as worship music with a vintage vibe.

  • Classic Stomp demos were recorded with a P Bass.

Rig 5 - Extra

This preset includes sounds that are not typically heard in worship music, but were inspiring to create. These scenes range from clean and spacey to aggressive and niche, resembling tones found in bass synthesizers.

  • Extra Stomp demos were recorded with a P Bass.
